There’s snorkeling and then there’s snorkeling off Tiran Island. This is the Hollywood of snorkeling and as such, it deserves the VIP treatment.

Enjoy a complimentary pick up from your accommodation in Sharm El Sheikh and head towards Marine passing by the snorkeling equipment shop to rent your equipment in case you do not have your own ones.

You’ll stop at three locations off this island, and enjoy a barbecue served by waiting staff. With more than 200 species of coral – most just a metre under the surface – and over 1,000 species of fish, everything about National Park screams blockbuster. This Andorra-sized reserve has been named as one of the world’s top five places for snorkeling by specialist website DiveIn.com, and you’ll be able to see why yourself with a visit to its crown jewel – Tiran Island. It’s worth the one-hour boat trip alone. You’ll have two snorkeling stops before the barbecue lunch – chicken, prawns, rice, pasta and salad are on the menu – and one in the afternoon. Depths plumb down to 1,800m and there’s a chance you’ll spot sharks, manta rays and barracudas in the deeper waters.
